Juomapeli

A party game for the table you are already sitting at. Fourteen modes behind one shell, thousands of written prompts, and a game that remembers what it has already shown you — so the second night is not a repeat of the first.

Not released yet. Email contact@ridgebrook.fi if you would like to hear when it is.

18+. Juomapeli is a drinking game for adults of legal drinking age. It also ships with a full alcohol-free mode, so nobody at the table has to drink to play.

How it is built

It does not repeat itself

Every prompt you see is remembered and set aside — not just for tonight, but for good. The standard complaint about games like this is that the second evening is the first evening again. This one is not.

An alcohol-free mode that actually works

One switch rewrites every drink instruction in the game into a non-alcoholic forfeit, including the rules screens. It is not a separate cut-down deck — you get the whole game.

It uses your names

Prompts are written with slots for real players and filled in from your roster, favouring whoever has been named least recently. Nobody gets forgotten and nobody gets singled out twice in a row.

It warms up

The game starts gentle and gets bolder as the evening goes on, weighted rather than gated, so nothing in the deck is ever out of reach. You also pick an intensity tier up front.

It looks after the table

Every twenty-five cards or so the game stops and tells everyone to drink a glass of water. That card cannot be skipped.

No connection, no account

One purchase and it is yours. No sign-up, no subscription, no advertising, and nothing about your evening leaves the phone.

Fourteen modes at launch

One session, one roster, one shared set of rules — and fourteen different games to point it at.

Pass the phone

Never Have I Ever · Most Likely To · Truth or Dare · Would You Rather · Chaos

Against the clock

Categories, where six seconds resets with every answer, and The Bomb, whose fuse does not reset for anyone.

One player sees it, the rest do not

Paranoia · Odds Are · Spectrum · Secret Missions · The Imposter

A phone each

The Imposter and Who Am I deal a secret role to every player's own device — by showing one square code, with no network involved at all.

Rules that stay

Persistent Rules commits a rule to the whole evening. It follows you into every other mode until it retires.

An ending

End the night and the game reveals every secret mission that was handed out, and settles who pulled theirs off.

Privacy, in one paragraph

Juomapeli has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Player names, settings and the record of which prompts you have already seen are written to your own device and never sent anywhere. Camera and photo access are optional, used only to read a game code, and nothing is captured or kept. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Play it sensibly

Every prompt can be skipped, nobody has to drink, and the alcohol-free mode is there for anyone who would rather not. Never drive after drinking. If you are worried about your own or someone else's drinking, talk to a health professional — in Finland, Päihdelinkki is a good place to start.
