Reporting a problem

Four things save a round trip:

  1. Your device and its OS version.
  2. The app version, at the bottom of the settings screen.
  3. What you were doing when it went wrong.
  4. What you expected instead.

Screenshots help. Never send passwords or payment details — we never need them and cannot access your store account.

Juomapeli — common questions

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No. No account, no login, no registration. After the download the game runs entirely on your device and works in aeroplane mode.

I bought the app. How do I get it on a new phone?

Sign in with the same Apple Account or Google account you bought it with and install again — the store recognises the purchase and does not charge you twice. If it asks you to pay, check you are signed in with the original account. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple and Google, so billing problems go to them.

The same cards keep coming up.

The game remembers every prompt it has shown you and avoids repeating it, across nights as well as within a session. If cards repeat, you have likely seen most of that mode's deck at that tier. Try a higher tier, which draws from a larger pool, or another mode. You can also clear the seen-prompt history in settings to make the whole deck available again.

Can we play without alcohol?

Yes. Turn on alcohol-free mode in settings and every drink instruction becomes a non-alcoholic forfeit, rules screens included. You can switch it on mid-session.

The code will not scan.

In the modes where everyone needs their own phone, one person hosts and shows a square code; everyone else reads it with their camera. Check you allowed camera access — if you declined, turn it on in your device's settings under the app.

You can also skip the camera entirely with Scan from a photo: the host screenshots the code and sends it to you in any messaging app, and you pick that image.

A code that will not read is usually too small, at an angle, or on a dimmed screen. Ask the host to turn brightness up and hold the phone flat.

Our phones are showing different rounds.

Each phone advances on its own, so a stray double-tap puts someone a round ahead for good. Every phone shows the room code, player count and round number — compare them, and have whoever is out of step tap back until the round matches. If that fails, start a new room.

What data does the app hold, and how do I delete it?

Only what is needed to play: player names, settings, which prompts you have seen, and any game in progress. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Clear it in settings, or uninstall the app to remove it completely. Detail in our Privacy Policy.

Is there an age limit?

Yes — 18 or older and of legal drinking age. See our Terms of Use.
